We accept most major insurance plans!

In the media today, you will find a wealth of information telling you the only way to get healthy is to remove complete food groups, eat only cucumbers, and work out about 15 times per week. Wow. How stressful is that? The truth is, there is no ONE way to approach nutrition and whole-body health because what works for one woman may not work for another, and your definition of healthy may not be her definition of healthy. And that’s OK!

Here are a few reasons why one-size-fits-all doesn’t work

We are different. Every woman’s body is unique. Your shape and build, metabolism, movement routines, stresses, past traumas, capabilities, and more shape your needs. Not to mention the differences in our preferences, allergies, intolerances, and favorite indulgences.

Beyond that, the habits and environments that impact our food decisions may differ from woman to woman, especially when we compare ourselves to our non-melanated counterparts.

So ask yourself, “How can I find my way if I try to fit into another woman’s box?” Well, sis … you can’t.

Because you can’t, what does that mean?

This means our nutrition and whole-body health approaches can and should be different … without guilt.

Plus, research shows there’s no perfect eating style to achieve your wellness aspirations.

Therefore, the best approaches can incorporate your uniqueness and various foods (yes, even your cultural favs) if you choose. The nutritional variety different foods bring us is endless, so why not take advantage of them?

What about body goals?

You may be asking, “What if body composition changes are my goal? Sis, over there, is killing it on keto!”

Research has also shown that this can happen with gentle manipulations of overall intake! So, even more reason to question why we are so often pushed to eliminate excessively or unnecessarily.

Essentially, there are better ways, sis (and you can still embrace and honor yourself in the process)!
